The Blood Moon/Total Lunar Eclipse/this month's Full Moon in Virgo at 23° is happening tonight/this early morning, March 14th @ 2:58 AM ET. This Full Moon is conjunct The South Node (where we've come from/past lives) in Virgo (practicality, meticulousness, analyticalness, extreme detail-orientedness, a hard-working nature) while opposing Saturn/The Sun/The North Node and Neptune all in Pisces (imagination, escapism, addiction, intuition, spirituality). Saturn is hard lessons learned, but it is also boons when you've worked really hard to achieve something, the Sun is the life force, the North Node is the path we are on in this lifetime/our soul's journey, and Neptune is imagination, spirituality, and dreams (the Ruler of Pisces). So, when you put all of this energy together, you can see how something very big is cooking up with this Lunar Eclipse and the effects of it will last well until 6 months from now until the next Eclipse cycle. This Full Moon is telling us to go away from what we have done in previous incarnations which is the practical thing and go with our intuition (Neptune) and take our intuition seriously (Saturn). It is telling us that it will lead us on the path that we need to be on in this lifetime and bring us into our full being and happiness (North Node and Sun). We can't control everything in life. It's time to let things go and that's what Full Moons are all about and Lunar Eclipses are the Ultimate Full Moons! If you have any Mutable energy (Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius) in your chart, especially in the later degrees, this Lunar Eclipse will play an especially big role in your life this time around. We also have a Grand Trine, though it's wide and out of sign for Pluto being in Aquarius, with the addition of Uranus in Taurus. It's still a Grand Trine though, and this will bring a certain amount of harmony to the table between our emotions, our intense/destructive/powerful natures, and our rebellious sides. This might have us believing in ourselves and reaching for goals we never would have dared before! This Blood Moon is also in a Kite formation which is considered a lucky aspect, so now is the time for things to end for the best of new things to begin that will change your life for the better!
So, to change up the energy a little bit, we have Mercury Retrograde coming on Saturday morning, March, 15, 2025 at 2:46 AM ET in Aries at 9°. Aries is the sign of the Ram and is impulsive, impatient, headstrong, a trailblazer, a leader, and energetic. It's going to be conjuncting Venus Retrograde in Aries where it was just exact on March 11th, 2025. That gives our communication/thinking styles and love natures a balanced and harmonious manner. Don't get too excited though, because they are both Retrograde causing their energies to be different than normal. It is also opposite the Moon in Libra which was just the Full Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse on Friday, March, 14 2025, so it's a Waning Gibbous Moon. This is also the manifestation period during when we are manifesting what we have put out their during the Full Moon. When Mercury goes Retrograde, expect delays, communication mishaps and possible arguments, plans canceled, technological glitches and failures, car troubles, auto accidents, transportation issues, more cops out on the roads and giving tickets, and trouble with commerce as these are all realms ruled by Mercury. Things typically don't normally go as planned. So, if your bus is late, if your Wi-Fi crashes, you suddenly need to have your car repaired, you have a miscommunication with a friend, your phone dies, these are all things that happen during Mercury Retrograde. With it being in the sign of Aries and also squaring Mars, the planet ruled by the God of War, try to remember to hold your tongue when you can, so those miscommunications aren't worse than they could be and make sure you double check those texts or emails for any typos before sending! This might be the time when keeping that thing to yourself might pay off in the long run!
